Andy went over last night and took a towel with him. The aim: to test drive the two showers. Verdict: Warm. No obvious leaks. Mixer shower very nice. Electric shower also good but have to be careful about spraying of water onto floor despite shower screen.

Andy also tested the heating. The radiators upstairs warmed up first. They all warmed up after abour 30-45 minutes. It may be a slower system than our system in Buxted to warm up, so it may be that we have to keep it on and ticking over when it is very cold.
The hot water temperature out of the tap is controllable, but does not get boiling hot.
This is a combination boiler with no immersion tank or cold water tank in the loft (as far as I am aware).
